Synchronized Data Acquisition from Web Services Serving at Disparate Rates

چکیده
Service-oriented architectures (SOAs) have provided improved means of serving data in business-to-business (B2B) communications. Usually, however, the flow of data from services is limited by the service provider, and different providers may limit to vastly different rates, leading to different quality of services (QoSs) for each. In some cases, the data from these various providers must be synchronized by the service consumer, for example, when that data comes from different marketplaces (e.g. Amazon or Ebay) and provides such information as prices, item sales ranks, and quantities. The acquisition of that data from each service must be reasonably synchronized if that data is to be reliably compared. This paper addresses the problems associated with this synchronization when QoS differs greatly between services but the quality of the data and the services themselves vary as well.

Exploring Linked Data at Web Scale
Universities, government agencies, companies, and individuals are increasingly releasing torrents of data encoded in structured formats. At the same time, the web is evolving from a medium comprising documents to a medium comprising data – structured descriptions of objects with defined attributes and connections to other objects. Traditional search models do not fully exploit the potential tha...

With the increase in Web-based databases and dynamically-generated Web pages, the concept of the “deep Web” has arisen. The deep Web refers to Web content that, while it may be freely and publicly accessible, is stored, queried, and retrieved through a database and one or more search interfaces, rendering the Web content largely hidden from conventional search and spidering techniques. These me...
متن کاملHigh Fuzzy Utility Based Frequent Patterns Mining Approach for Mobile Web Services Sequences
Nowadays high fuzzy utility based pattern mining is an emerging topic in data mining. It refers to discover all patterns having a high utility meeting a user-specified minimum high utility threshold. It comprises extracting patterns which are highly accessed in mobile web service sequences. Different from the traditional fuzzy approach, high fuzzy utility mining considers not only counts of mob...

Geospatial data sharing is a concern in geospatial science because of the heterogeneity of existing geographical information systems. This study aims to examine the use of Geospatial Semantic Web technologies such as ontology, web services and the service-oriented architecture for enabling disparate heterogeneous legacy GIS to share and integrate information in a cost effective way to reduce sp...
